Photos of your child
We ask your written permission before we share any photo of your child, on this site, in newsletters or on social media, and you can change your answer at any time. We never put a child's name with a photo, and the photos on this site are examples until we replace them with our own.
Watching class and belt tests
Families can watch any class from the bench along the wall. At belt tests, please stay seated and quiet, and keep phones off flash.
What to wear and bring
A plain t-shirt and loose pants for the first class, with a uniform to borrow for that visit. After that a uniform is ordered through the front desk. Hair is tied back, nails are short, no jewelry, and shoes stay off the mat. Bring a water bottle.
When to keep your child home
Please keep a student home with a fever, a rash or a stomach illness, and for a full day after it passes. Mats are wiped down between classes.
Drop-off and pickup
Students sign in at the front desk and wait there for the adult who collects them. We release a student only to a parent or an adult you have named, and we ask for ID from anyone we don't know.
Closures for weather and holidays
We close for the school-year holidays and when weather closes the county's schools. Families hear by text and email, and a missed class can be made up.
Leaving the program
We ask for written notice 30 days before a student leaves. Enrollment is month to month, and an email to the front desk is enough.
Screens and phones
Phones stay in bags during class, and students don't use screens in the gym.
In the gym
A bench for families
The bench along the wall faces the mat and stays in view of the door. Families are welcome to stay for a class and watch.
